Shrimp farmers in Andhra Pradesh have received a fresh development on feed prices following the Andhra Pradesh High Court's order dated September 3, 2026.
Avanti Feeds Limited has announced the withdrawal of its September 1, 2026 price increase circular for both Vannamei and Black Tiger shrimp feed. The company has stated that it will implement the prices specified in its June 12, 2026 price increase circular, in accordance with the High Court's direction.
The company communicated the decision to its distributors and dealers through a notice dated September 9, 2026.
June 12 Rates to Be Implemented
According to the notice issued by Avanti Feeds, the company is withdrawing the price increase announced on September 1 for both Vannamei and Black Tiger shrimp feed.
The company said the June 12, 2026 price circular will be implemented with immediate effect.
Avanti Feeds also stated that a new price list would be circulated shortly.

Avanti Feeds has now formally communicated its compliance with that direction by withdrawing the September 1 price increase and reverting to the June 12 circular rates.
